Saturday, February 28th - At app. 18:10, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on CR2184. TVFD responded with Tanker 51 with Unit 504 and one firefighter, Squad 51 with Unit 502 and four firefighters. Greg Blanchat with Blanchat Manufacturing was preparing to demo his Minuteman fast attack apparatus when the call came in, and since Booster 51 is currently out-of-service, he graciously volunteered the use of this truck, responding with Unit 501. Firefighters arrived to find app. one acre on fire, caused by a downed power line.
Friday, February 27th - At app. 11:50, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to CR3011. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with two firefighters.
At app. 19:10, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on FM787 app. one mile east of FM2518. TVFD responded with Unit 502 to find a controlled-burn.
Thursday, February 26th - At app. 19:55, Tarkington VFD was dispatched for lifting assistance on CR3141. TVFD responded with Unit 503 and Squad 51 with Unit 504 and two firefighters.
Monday, February 23rd - At app. 10:10, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to Pine Shadows. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with Unit 501 and two firefighters.
Sunday, February 22nd - At app. 17:30, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to CR2224. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with one firefighter.
Saturday, February 21st - At app. 20:40, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a report of a large brush fire on CR2243 (Doc Howard Road) near CR2244. TVFD responded with Unit 503, Tanker 51 with Unit 501 and Unit 502, Engine 51 with three firefighters, Squad 51 with one firefighter, and two units from Cleveland VFD, but were unable to locate any fire. After some initial confusion, it was determined that the person reporting the fire was on CR2224 instead of CR2244. TVFD units proceeded to that location to find a large brush pile on fire.
Thursday, February 19th - At app. 5:45, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a structure fire on CR2220. TVFD responded with Tanker 52 with Unit 502 and one firefighter and Engine 51 with Unit 503 and one firefighter to find a small grass fire on the exterior of the structure.
Wednesday, February 11th - At app. 1:05, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a vehicle fire on CR2230. TVFD responded with Unit 502 and Engine 51 with Unit 503 and Unit 504 to find a Lincoln Navigator fully involved.
At app. 21:20, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to a report of a male with extremely low blood sugar on CR2298. TVFD responded with Unit 515, Unit 584, Unit 502, and Unit 512.
Tuesday, February 10th - At app. 19:00, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to a report of a fall victim on CR2270. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with two firefighters.
Sunday, February 8th - At app. 14:50, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA on SH105 at CR2305. TVFD responded with Unit 503, Unit 501 with Unit 505 onboard, Unit 502 with one additional firefighter, Engine 51 with Unit 504 and two firefighters, and Squad 51 with two firefighters. One victim's injuries were severe enough to require transport by air medical helicopter, so a LZ was set up nearby. Cypress Lakes VFD also responded.
At app. 17:45, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA on SH321 at the Marsh Bridge. TVFD responded with Unit 503, Unit 501, Unit 504, Tanker 51 with two firefighters, Squad 51 with Unit 506, and Engine 51 with Unit 502, Unit 505, and one firefighter to find an accident involving an 18-wheeler and pickup, with the pickup on fire. One victim's injuries were severe enough to require transport by air medical helicopter, so a LZ was set up nearby. SH321 was shut down for over six hours as the accident was investigated and cleared. Cleveland and Cypress Lakes fire departments were dispatched to assist with traffic control, diverting traffic at SH321 and CR2243 and at SH105 and SH321. The last units cleared the scene shortly before 1:00 on Monday morning.

At app. 19:30, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on CR3011. TVFD responded with Tanker 51 with two firefighters. Since all other units were working the accident scene, HWY321 VFD was dispatched to assist.
At app. 20:35, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to a report of chest pains at SH321 and CR2242. TVFD responded with Unit 506 and Unit 584.
Saturday, February 7th - Shortly after midnight, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a fully-involved structure fire on FM1008 at CR2320. TVFD responded with Unit 504, Engine 51 with four firefighters, Tanker 52 with Unit 502, and Tanker 51 with two firefighters to find heavy fire showing from the former Jenny's Quickstop. Mutual aid was requested from both Kenefick and HWY321 fire departments for tanker shuttle and manpower.
At app. 18:00, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on FM1008 near CR2312. TVFD responded with Unit 504, Booster 51 with Unit 502 and one firefighter, and Tanker 51 with two firefighters to find app. 1/4-acre on fire.
At app. 19:45, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a burn ban violation on CR3011. TVFD responded with Unit 502.
Thursday, February 5th - At app. 15:35, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to mutual aid North Liberty County VFD with a pasture fire on CR2232. TVFD responded with Booster 51 with Unit 501 and Unit 502 to find app. ten acres on fire.
Monday, February 2nd - At app. 6:30, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to CR2287 for a report of a 52-year old male not breathing. TVFD responded with Unit 503. Soon after, a second tone for additional manpower brought Squad 51 with two firefighters.
Sunday, February 1st - At app. 10:45, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a MVA on CR2285 near CR2284. TVFD responded with Unit 510, Unit 502, Engine 51 with two firefighters, and Unit 503.

At app. 16:20, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a structure fire on CR2250. TVFD responded with Booster 51 with Unit 504 and one firefighter and Tanker 51 with Unit 502 to find a burn ban violation.
At app. 17:45, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a tree on fire on Gaylor Lake near SH105. TVFD responded with Unit 503 and Booster 51 with Unit 506. However, due to the location of the fire, TVFD was unable to extinguish the blaze.
At app. 19:50, TVFD was dispatched to a brush fire caused by a lightning strike on FM2518 near Tarkington Mobile Home Park. TVFD responded with Unit 502 and Booster 51 with Unit 506 and one firefighter.
At app. 20:40, TVFD was dispatched to mutual aid North Liberty County VFD with a structure fire at Thick 'N Thin Sawmill. TVFD was disregarded prior to any units going enroute.
At app. 22:50, TVFD was dispatched d to a report of a MVA on CR2285 near CR2284. TVFD responded with Unit 504, Unit 515, Unit 502, and Engine 51 with Unit 503, Unit 506, and one firefighter.
