Saturday, October 8th- At app. 6:30, TVFD was dispatched to a reported brush fire on SH321 at SH105. TVFD responded with Unit 501 and Unit 502 to find the fire was a controlled burn. All other units were disregarded prior to going in route.
At app. 21:00, Tarkington firefighters were called to mutual aid Cleveland VFD with a brush fire on CR377 (Boles Road) at CR3774. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters.
Friday, October 7th- Just before noon, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a reported grass fire on SH321 app. one mile south of FM1008. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters and Rescue 51 with two firefighters to find a burn pile had gotten out of control due to the high winds. The fire quickly spread to the adjoining woods. The Texas Forest Service was called to respond with a dozer to plow a containment line around the fire. However, the high winds caused the fire to jump this containment line and a second line. Mutual aid was requested from Cleveland VFD, Kenefick VFD, Dayton VFD, and the Liberty County Wildland Task Force and a second alarm was sounded for Tarkington VFD at app. 15:30, bringing Booster 53 with one firefighter. The Texas Forest Service also dispatched a second dozer to aid on the fire. Through the combined efforts of all involved, the fire was finally contained at app. 18:00 after burning app. 100-150 acres.

Thursday, October 6th- TVFD was called to a report of a grass fire on SH321 at CR301S. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters.
Tuesday, October 4th- Tarkington VFD was called to a MVA on CR2291. TVFD responded with Engine 54 with two firefighters.
Monday, October 3rd- Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a reported grass fire on CR308 at app. 14:15. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters.
Sunday, October 2nd- Several Tarkington firefighters spent the day delivering ice and drinking water to residents in the Trinity River "bottoms".
At app. 14:20, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to a report of a 88-year old female possibly having a heart-attack. TVFD responded with Rescue 51 with two firefighters.
Saturday, October 1st- Several Tarkington firefighters spent the day in Sam Houston Lake Estates cutting trees off of the roadways.
At app. 11:15, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a grass fire on FM787 caused by a downed power line. TVFD resonded with Booster 55 with two firefighters.
At app. 16:30, TVFD was dispatched to a CO2 alarm going off on CR2209. TVFD responded with Unit 505, Unit 503, and Engine 54 with two firefighters.
At app. 22:45, Tarkington First Responders were called to a possible cardiac arrest on CR2222. TVFD responded with Rescue 51 with two firefighters.
At app. 23:15, Tarkington First Responders were called to a 28-year old male assault victim on CR2181. TVFD responded with Rescue 51 with two firefighters.
Friday, September 30th- At app. 16:45, TVFD was dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on SH321 at the Citgo station. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters.
Thursday, September 29th- TVFD members were once again stationed all-day and all-night at Cleveland EMS headquarters to lead in out-of-town EMS companies on calls on the Prairie.
At app. 20:30, Tarkington firefighters were called to a tree on fire on CR301S. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters.
