Sunday, November 13th- At app. 16:45, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a burn ban violation on CR2184. TVFD responded with Unit 509, Unit 501, Booster 55 with two firefighters, and Engine 54 with three firefighters to find two large brush piles on fire. TVFD advised the resident of the burn ban and extinguished the fire, requesting mutual aid from Cleveland VFD and North Liberty County VFD for tankers for water.
Friday, November 11th- At app. 13:15, Tarkington First Responders were called for a lift assist on CR2281. TVFD responded with Rescue 51 with two firefighters.
Thursday, November 10th- At app. 17:30, Tarkington firefighters were called to a reported pasture fire on CR2275. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters to find a small brush fire. TVFD advised the resident of the burn ban and extinguished the fire.
Monday, November 7th- At app. 17:15, TVFD was dispatched to a reported burn ban violation on SH321 near Cannon's Grocery. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters to find a small trash fire. TVFD advised the resident of the burn ban and extinguished the fire.
At app. 17:30, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to another reported burn ban violation on CR2323. TVFD responded from the first call with with Booster 55 with two firefighters to find a small trash fire. TVFD advised the resident of the burn ban and the resident extinguished the fire.
At app. 18:45, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA rollover and car fire on CR2293. TVFD responded with Unit 501, Booster 55 with two firefighters, and Engine 54 with five firefighters to find a Dodge Ram pickup fully involved. Luckily, the driver and sole occupant had managed to exit the vehicle.

At app. 20:15, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a possible structure fire on CR2259. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters and Engine 54 with five firefighters (which was just leaving the scene of the car fire). Arriving units found the fire to have been caused by a towel over a bathroom vanity light, which had been extinguished by the homeowner.
At app. 20:45, as units were returning from the previous call, they witnessed another burn ban violation on CR2259. Booster 55 and Engine 54 stopped and advised the homeowner of the burn ban and extinguished the fire.
Friday, November 4th- At app. 22:15, TVFD was dispatched to a reported MVA on Rural Shade Road. TVFD responded from the Tarkington-Splendora football game with Engine 54 with five firefighters to find a single-vehicle accident. The occupants of the vehicle had been transported by private vehicle to a local hospital. TVFD stayed on location, providing traffic control and lights.

Wednesday, November 2nd- At app. 13:40, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a structure fire in Tarkington Woods. TVFD responded with Engine 54 with two firefighters and Rescue 51 with three firefighters to find a mobile home with heavy fire showing. TVFD acted quickly to prevent the spread of the fire, saving the structure, but unable to save the contents. The homeowner even lost her pet cat, despite the valiant efforts of TVFD Paramedic Tina Gregory. Cleveland VFD was called to provide a tanker for water to fight the blaze.
