Monday, November 28th- TVFD was dispatched to a powerline fire on CR2298 at app. 22:25. TVFD responded with Rescue 51 with two firefighters and Booster 55 with two firefighters. TVFD stayed on location till SHECO arrived.
Saturday, November 26th- Tarkington firefighters started the morning very early, dispatched to a MVA on FM787 at app. 0:20, not long after many had just returned home from the brush fire call of the prior evening. TVFD responded with Unit 509, Unit 501, Unit 502, Engine 54 with three firefighters, Booster 55 with one firefighter , and Rescue 51 with two firefighters to find a Ford pickup overturned in a yard, with two injured.

At app. 11:00, Tarkington First Responders were called to a report a 64 year-old having chest pains on CR2191. TVFD responded with Rescue 51 with two firefighters.
Friday, November 25th- At app. 11:50, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to a report of a male lying in the road near FM787 and Oak Shade Road. TVFD responded with Rescue 51 with two firefighters, but were disregarded prior to arriving on location.
At app. 21:22, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a woods fire on CR2181 at CR2182. TVFD responded with Unit 501, Booster 55 with two firefighters and Engine 54 with four firefighters to find several small fires along the side of the road. Due to the suspicious nature of the fires, Liberty County Sheriiff's Office was called to investigate. Shepherd VFD was called for mutual aid.
Wednesday, November 23rd- Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a grass fire on CR2313 at app. 14:30. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters and Engine 54 with two firefighters to find the fire was spreading into the woods. TVFD extinguished the fire.
As TVFD was clearing the scene of the prior fire, they were dispatced to another grass fire in Tarkington Mobile Home Park off of FM2518 at 15:26. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters and Engine 54 with two firefighters to find the fire threatening a car and a mobile home. TVFD extinguished the fire and notified Liberty County Sheriff's Office to make a report, the fire having been intentionally set and abandoned.
At app. 16:50, TVFD was dispatched to a MVA on SH321 at SH105. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters, Unit 502, Rescue 51 with one firefighter, and Engine 54 with two firefighters to find a log truck had rolled over, striking a Nissan pick-up head on, the logs coming off the trailer and crushing a Volvo station wagon. TVFD remained on the scene for over three hours, re-routing traffic around the accident and assisting in cleaning up the debris and fluids from the accident. Fortunately, no one was killed in this accident.
